Entry Niche
This small century home had limited, inconvenient first floor closet space. Placed at the side entry, the cubbies create much needed storage while greatly improving the efficiency of this family's daily routine. Multiple levels of shelving, tons of hooks, and custom sunglass holders maximize the tiny space. Walnut accents add a touch of class, while the matching built-in seat provides further function to this design.
Hidden Shelving
Under the basement stairs of this 75 year-old home was wasted, dusty space, and a section of the first floor in need of some reinforcement. Three new support posts were incorporated into a custom shelving unit, complete with a wine rack and hidden storage compartments. The redesigned space helped the homeowners declutter their basement and turn it into a polished, finished space.
Custom Storage
A truly unique project that was so fun to build. It was time for an extensive record collection to finally have a proper home. Nothing in this 100+ year old home was level or plumb, making the "behind the scenes" part of the construction a little more challenging. In the end, over 1,500 records now have a nice, perfectly level home. Complementing the collection is a butcher block shelf for the record player and lower shelving to accommodate the stereo components.
